Our family never really had a vacation or any bonding time because we were all busy. One time we hired a helicopter charter so that for the first time in years we can all have bonding time and a vacation worth remembering. My sister and I are full time nurses, our brother is a lawyer with lots of clients, and our parents are very preoccupied with their business. In a nutshell, we really didn’t have time to have a vacation but my sister and I planned this and sort of “kidnapped” my parents and my brother for the weekend. We brought them in our country home which is located far from civilization. At first, they were a little pissed but when we explained it to them, they finally gave in. We spent the weekend swimming in the lake at the back of the house, grilling barbecue, and of course, catching up with each others’ lives. After that weekend we came home closer to each as ever before. Now, I found out that my brother was planning another “kidnapping” for all of us.
